Our third-party carrier has provided an update regarding this outage. Their supplier has advised that their underground network has been subject to a significant criminal act, resulting in multiple fibre cables being cut across several locations.
Engineering teams are currently on site assessing the extent of the damage and developing recovery plans. Due to the scale of the damage, an estimated time for service restoration is not currently available.
We appreciate the impact this disruption is having and would like to reassure customers that all parties are working to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide a further update by 14:00 on 27/09/2026, or sooner should any significant developments be received.

Engineers currently on site investigating the issue have identified a fault within our third-party carrier's network. The carrier is arranging for their own engineers to attend and investigate further on their side.
We are awaiting further updates from the carrier and will provide our next update by 16:00
