Following our investigation into the service disruption affecting Internet services in Sudbury, the identified faulty equipment was addressed and services have remained stable.
Since the last update, we have continued to closely monitor the network and have observed no further incidents or service-impacting issues. Based on this sustained period of stability, we are now satisfied that the issue has been resolved and this incident can be closed.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this incident and thank customers for their patience and understanding while our teams worked to resolve the issue.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned equipment replacement did not take place overnight as originally scheduled.

Our teams will continue to closely monitor the situation. Should service stability change before the rescheduled maintenance window, we will review the situation and take any necessary action.

We have identified the cause of today's service disruptions as a faulty piece of equipment that unexpectedly rebooted on two occasions, resulting in brief interruptions to service.
The equipment has remained stable since the last occurrence. To minimise the risk of further customer impact, we are planning to replace the faulty equipment during overnight hours tomorrow. Further communication regarding this planned maintenance will be provided shortly.
Should the equipment unexpectedly reboot again before the scheduled replacement, we will review the situation and may bring forward the replacement as an emergency activity.
